We begin the day with breakfast before heading to the outskirts of Deiá. Today’s beautiful walk begins on the outside of the village, walking to the beautiful old traditional town of Soller. On this walk, we witness some fabulous viewpoints of the coast and Soller itself. We also enjoy some free time in Soller, which sits in the heart of the ‘valley of oranges’. The main square – Plaza de la Constitución – is Soller’s beating heart, which is lined with numerous bars and cafés. We board a wooden train, known locally as the ‘Orange Express’, for a scenic journey down to Palma.

The sandy beach of Santa Ponsa is a short walk away, or we can explore the city of Palma, known as the ‘pearl of the Mediterranean', which is 20km away and is perfect for a day trip. The capital of the island boasts the huge Santa María Cathedral, a Gothic landmark from the 13th-century which overlooks the Bay of Palma.

Day Five: Kayaking
This morning we head to Cala San Vicente - a small, tranquil resort village located on the northern coast of Mallorca, near the town of Pollença. It's known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and dramatic mountainous backdrop, making it a favourite spot for visitors seeking a peaceful, natural setting. This morning we will kayak on these waters and explore the coastline on a tour with a guide. Later that day we will then return to Santa Ponsa.

Day Six: Cycling in Pollença
Today we head to Pollença to begin our cycling tour, a charming town in the northern part of Mallorca, known for its rich history, picturesque streets, and proximity to beautiful natural landscapes. We head out of Pollença towards Cap de Formentor, the northernmost tip of the island on the Formentor Peninsula. Famed for its rugged cliffs, breathtaking views, and iconic lighthouse, Cap de Formentor is one of the most stunning and dramatic locations in Mallorca. We use e-bikes for this part of the tour.

Essential Information
- The day by day running of the holiday can vary depending on weather. The places we go to on the activities can also vary depending on weather.
- At the beginning of your trip, your Tour Leader will ask if you would be happy to sign a photo permission form. This means that any photographs taken during your holiday can be used by Solos to share what the Solos experience is all about. It also means you have lots of memories to go home with! Details will be given at your welcome meeting.
We recommend that you check passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting at the State Department if you have a U.S. Passport. Most countries require that your passport have at least six months validity when traveling internationally, and many require that you have one to two blank visa pages for either an entry stamp or visa. As a general rule, please check that your passport has six months validity beyond your planned trip, and if not, please renew your passport with plenty of time to provide Solos with your updated passport information by the final payment due date.
We recommend that you check if vaccinations are required for your destination at the CDC’s recommendations for your visited destination(s). We also recommend you purchase travel protection. A travel protection plan can often assist with medical emergencies and reimburse costs that are covered by the plan. Please verify coverage details with Solos before you travel.
