Prague is one of the most well visited cities in Europe and it is easy to see why as soon as you reach the historic centre of the “City of a Hundred Spires” (actually more like 500 if you want to be accurate). Straddling the banks of the majestic Vltava River, it’s a treasure trove of cobbled streets and secluded courtyards that will delight and entice even the most seasoned traveller. Throw in its romantic bridges, historic cathedrals, dazzling gold covered towers and the spectacular astronomical clock at its heart, it is a place eager to reveal its exquisite treasures to those willing to seek them out. Day One: Arrive in Prague

Day Three: Prague Castle
This morning we’ll be heading to Prague Castle, the largest coherent castle complex in the world, an ancient symbol of Czech state. Our local guide will show us the interiors of immense St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace with late gothic Vladislav Hall, roman St. George Basilica and a picturesque Golden Lane. Later we can roam through the gardens and admire palaces and churches of the Lesser Town. At our farewell dinner we’ll be tasting traditional Czech food, beer or wine, accompanied by the sound of folk music and dynamic dancers.

After breakfast we’ll have free time to explore Prague further before transferring to the airport for our onward flight.

Essential Information
